Magpie Viaduct, Devon
- Located in Tavistock, Devon, South West England, England
- A railway line once connected Tavistock and Plymouth. Magpie Viaduct was built to span a deep valley near Bedford Bridge by Horrabridge. Today, the viaduct is part of Drake's Trail which is a multi-use recreational trail enjoyed by cyclists and walkers
- The brick viaduct we see today was built in 1902. It replaced an 'earlier timber viaduct with stone piers designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel'. Magpie Viaduct was named after a pub called the Magpie Inn. The pub is no longer there. (Source: information board at Bedford Bridge)
- West of Magpie Viaduct is the magnificent Gem Bridge. North of that is Grenofen Tunnel. Gem Bridge was built on a site once occupied by another timber viaduct designed by Brunel. Grenofen Tunnel was also built by Brunel
