*If you are visiting the area, please note tide times.* People get cut off from Porthcurno Beach and Pedn Vounder Beach when the sea rises and surrounds the high granite cliffs. If you have any doubts, we'd recommend staying on Porthcurno Beach as this has very easy and safe access to the large car park in Porthcurno village. For example, there were several rescues on the cliffs at Green Bay over the long Easter weekend in 2012
