Find places to stay around Drewsteignton in
Dartmoor National Park. We'd recommend staying in The Drewe Arms with its superb location close to both
Castle Drogo and the
Teign Gorge. Offers some of the best walking in the National Park.

Fingle Bridge, Devon
- Located in Drewsteignton, Devon, South West England, England
- Fingle Bridge is a local beauty spot in the Teign Gorge within Dartmoor National Park
- The bridge spans the River Teign and is surrounded by steep, wooded valley walls
- Members of the team at PictureTheUK live in the local area and have walked the Teign Gorge to Fingle Bridge on dozens of occasions in all seasons. It's one of the most beautiful places in the National Park
- The pub 'Fingle Bridge Inn' is on the north bank of the river. There's plenty of parking although it does get very crowded so expect lots of people in high season or holiday weekends
- We'd recommend following either the Dartmoor Way west along the valley floor or the Hunters Path that connects with the Two Moors Way on the upper valley wall. The views from the latter over the Teign Gorge and west to the high moors are magnificent. Specifically, enjoy the views from Sharp Tor (Teign Gorge) and Hunter's Tor (Teign Gorge). We've located all these attractions on Google maps so zoom in on the satellite setting for detail. As ever, we'd suggest you study the Ordnance Survey OL28 'Dartmoor' map for detail as well
- At the mouth of the Teign Gorge, you'll see the National Trust's Castle Drogo and Gardens
- At the western end of the Teign Gorge, you'll see Chagford under Meldon Hill
