Conies Down, Devon

The Lych Way runs from the centre of Dartmoor to Lydford on the western border of the Park. From Bellever Forest, in the middle of Dartmoor, the Lych Way passes north of Wistman's Wood and runs by Lydford Tor before dropping down to the River Cowsic. There, it climbs to Conies Down before continuing west to Cocks Hill. Conies Down is a remote, beautiful area on the flank of which is Conies Down Tor. The views south down the Cowsic Valley are superb
