The Eden Project

A wonderful place any time of the year. The largest conservatories of 'Biomes' in the world. Because it's so good, it can get very crowded in high season (July to August-ish). In the area, also visit The Lost Gardens of Heligan and Charlestown Dock.

Stonehenge World Heritage Site

World famous prehistoric site in the county of Wiltshire. Part of the Stonehenge and Avebury Stone Circle UNESCO World Heritage Site. Spend some time walking the local downland and Salisbury Plain.

Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site

Sounds as grand as it is. Amazing stretch of coastline running across East Devon AONB and Dorset. Fossil hunt around Lyme Regis and Charmouth. The walking and views are top class anywhere on the coast.

Roman Baths

Part of the Bath UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built on the only naturally occurring hot springs in the United Kingdom.

South West Coast Path, End

If you're into walking, you must try sections or all of this long distance path. We've walked most of the path and it's amazing.

St Michael's Mount

Wait for the tide to go out (just) and walk the causeway through the sea to the island. Or take a boat. Or just look at it from Mount's Bay.

Sennen Cove Beach

White sand beach in south west Cornwall close to Land's End. Go. On The Land's End Peninsula (The Penwith Peninsula) with St. Ives nearby. St Michael's Mount and some of the best sites within the Cornwall and West Devon Mining Landscape World Heritage Site are in the local area.
