National Park: Dartmoor

Famous clapper bridge
In the centre of Dartmoor National Park and famous for its clapper bridge which spans the East Dart River as it flows to Dartmeet.

Unsurprisingly, given its location in the heart of the National Park, Postbridge's a great place from which to explore the moors. We'd point you south in the direction of Bellever Tor via Bellever Forest. To the north, try The Grey Wethers Stone Circles by Fernworthy Forest. To the west is Wistman's Wood and to the east Dartmoor Giant Chair.

Two Moors Way
The Two Moors Way runs to the east of Postbridge so if you're looking for a big day out, try a section of this long distance footpath.

There's plenty of parking and a National Park Information Centre. Note that the Princetown National Park Visitor Centre is just up the road in Princetown.
