The Tamar Valley is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the Cornwall and Devon border. If you have time and energy, you can explore the area on foot via the Tamar Valley Discovery Trail. If you fancy a more leisurely experience, you can take the train. The Tamar Valley Line runs between Plymouth and Gunnislake. 'Trains run seven days a week, all year round. All trains call at Bere Ferrers, Bere Alston, Calstock and Gunnislake in the Tamar Valley.
