We'd recommend walking the South West Coast Path both east and west from here. To the east, after several very steep climbs, you'll see the white pebbles of Weston Mouth Beach stretching out in front of you towards Beer Head and Beer. To the west, you'll arrive at Ladram Bay Sea Stacks and Ladram Bay Beach
In the local area, visit Bicton Park Botanical Gardens. In addition to Sidmouth, we'd suggest you explore Budleigh Salterton, Branscombe and Beer
PS. Behind the beach, there's a grassy area that climbs as it follows the rise of the cliffs. It's from the top of this grassy area that you get one of the 'classic' views of Sidmouth
