  • We've visited Morwellham Quay on many occasions and it's a great family day out. From the farm to the nature trail, the museum to the ship Garlandstone, there's plenty to do for all age groups. Make sure you take the trip into the old mine that runs deep into the hills that steeply bank from the riverside. Also explore the numerous buildings that have been reconstructed to show how people lived at Morwellham Quay when the port was in its pomp
  • The 'Great Dock' was built in the 1850s
  • Morwellham Quay is run by the owners of Bicton Park Botanical Gardens which is in East Devon. Bicton is another very popular family day out in Devon
