  • The King Harry Ferry connects Cornwall west of the River Fal and Estuary with The Roseland Peninsula. The ferry crosses the River Fal and Estuary by the National Trust's Trelissick Garden to the south of Truro. The King Harry Ferry is a convenient and cheap way to access The Roseland Peninsula from South and West Cornwall without having to drive around the network of rivers and creeks that feed into the Fal Estuary
  • The ferry is well signposted from both Truro and Falmouth. You'll pass Trelissick's famous tower before dropping down to the waterside. Clearly, queues build up in busy periods. On the Roseland side of the ferry trip are Tolverne Quay and, a little further away, St. Just in Roseland
  • King Harry Ferry is pulled across the water by chains. Note that there's a similar ferry at Dartmouth
