Beautiful National Trust Village
A popular and beautiful National Trust village on the fringe of the southern Cotswolds, Lacock village has appeared in many TV programmes and films.

Home to Lacock Abbey, which was a film location for the Harry Potter films, and the Fox Talbot Museum, the village has plenty of pubs, tea rooms, shops and great walks. We'd recommend you wander around the village before visiting any of its attractions. Small, yes, but packed with impressive details and wonderful buildings. The wide street leading to the Abbey is a treat.

The village generated its wealth and buildings from the wool trade. Lacock Tithe Barn and Lock Up are splendid, Lacock St Cyriac's Church well worth a visit.
