Hope Cove Mouthwell Beach, Devon

Small sandy beach by Outer Hope. Across the way is Hope Cove Harbour Beach.

Great family beach managed by the National Trust. To the west are a number of smaller beaches. Good rock pooling at Thurlestone Leas Foot Sand. Amazing walks.

Bigbury-on-Sea Beach

Sandy beach extending to Burgh Island when the tide's out. Connects to Bantham Beach. There's a sea tractor offering access to Burgh Island when tide's in. Great fun!

South Sands, Devon

Another cracking beach at Salcombe. Sandy beach accessible by a narrow, winding road. Limited parking so best to take taxi boat and then sea tractor from Salcombe.

Soar Mill Cove

A relatively unknown, small beach close to Salcombe (east) and Bolberry Down (west). Cracking walking and views.

Blackpool Sands

One of the most picturesque and well photographed beaches in South Devon.

River Erme and Estuary

Off the beaten track but worth the effort. A large expanse of sand on the Erme Estuary. The South West Coast Path runs across the beach.
