These hotels are selected by location. Bovey Castle's a luxury hotel to the north east of Dartmoor National Park close to Moretonhampstead. Exceptional walking country. Lustleigh Cleave to the south east. Bowerman's Nose and Dartmoor Giant Chair close.
What's near here? Streetview
To the east of the Park and near the exquisite Lustleigh Cleave. Haytor Rocks, Hound Tor, Becky Falls and Bowerman's Nose all close. In our opinion, in Dartmoor's finest area.
Central Dartmoor. Wistman's Wood, Bellever Tor and Forest are close. Postbridge Clapper Bridge to the north east and Princetown to the south west.
Very close to Haytor Rocks, Hound Tor and Bonehill Rocks. Bowerman's Nose and Widecombe in the Moor a little further away. Super location for exploring the east of the Park. Easy access to the South Devon AONB and The English Riviera.
In central Moretonhampstead, a gateway town to Dartmoor National Park. We'd recommend walking the Dartmoor Way to the Teign Gorge and Castle Drogo and Gardens. Visit Chagford as well.
North west Dartmoor with quick access to the only two mountains in southern England, Yes Tor and High Willhays. National Trust Lydford Gorge and Waterfall just down the road. The moors and tors around Great Links Tor are superb.
On the southern fringe of the Park. Plymouth and the Tamar Valley AONB close. We'd suggest heading north to Burrator Reservoir for walks as it's one of Dartmoor's most impressive locations. To the east is the South Devon AONB.
On the western border of Dartmoor. Again, close to the Tamar Valley AONB with Plymouth to the south. Many spectacular high tors just to the east.
A few miles south of Dartmoor close to the National Trust's Saltram House and Gardens and Dartmoor Zoological Park. Plymouth easily accessible by car. South Devon AONB to the east.
Near the mighty impressive National Trust Lydford Gorge and Waterfall and Lydford Castle. We'd recommend a weekend break in the area for this gorge alone. To the east, the high moors. The walk to Brat Tor and then up to Great Links Tor is top.
