South west Dartmoor
In south west Dartmoor close to one of the Park's most beautiful areas around Burrator Reservoir. Top tors include Leather Tor and Sharpitor, Sheeps Tor and King's Tor.

Attractions
To the west are Buckland Abbey and Morwellham Quay, to the north east the Princetown National Park Visitor Centre. To the south are Saltram House and Gardens and Dartmoor Zoological Park, to the north Lydford Gorge and Waterfall.

Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty
Yelverton's clearly in a great location to explore the National Park but it's also superb for some of the finest Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty in South West England.

Tamar Valley is to the west, a particularly beautiful part of the Cornwall AONB to the south west and the South Devon AONB to the south east.

Last, visit Plymouth. It's a fine city with an exceptional history.
