Major South Devon destination
Kingsbridge is a major South Devon and South Hams destination offering great access to many of the area's top attractions. Located on the northern fringe of The Salcombe Kingsbridge Estuary, A-roads lead to Salcombe and Plymouth, Torcross and Dartmouth. To the north is Totnes.

Boat trips
Whilst Kingsbridge is an impressive place with its distinctive cinema and range of shops, it's the estuary and its boat trips to the coast that mark this out as a special place to visit. Book a spot on a boat and head south to Salcombe. On sunny days, the experience is unforgettable.

Beach and coast
To the east, try Slapton Sands, Bee Sands and Hall Sands. To the south try Mill Bay Beach and the East Portlemouth Beaches (Small's and Fisherman's Coves), South Sands and Soar Mill Cove. To the west, Bantham Beach and Dunes is a must.

Walking
If you're looking to stretch your legs, the South West Coast Path is the most obvious choice but consider the wooded cleaves or valleys of Dartmoor and the National Park's wild moors.

Plymouth
Last, visit Plymouth. Climb Plymouth Smeaton's Tower and explore the Plymouth National Marine Aquarium, walk the grounds of Saltram House and Gardens and take a ferry across to Mount Edgcumbe Country Park.
