Seaside Holidays in Cornwall
So, Cornwall's famous for its beaches and surfing, sea sports and coastal walking. But, where should you go to make the most of the natural goodies? Here are our 'Top 10 Recommended Seaside Holidays in Cornwall'. We provide other ideas in the explanatory text, too. You might want to browse our other 'Top 10' links, most specifically the beach list, for further ideas. Alternatively, search 'Cornwall beaches' to discover the county's coastline, seaside towns and villages.

Sennen, Cornwall

All the way down on the south west coast of Cornwall, Sennen is a small village in an exceptional location at the southern end of Whitesand Bay. If the sun's out, it's a perfect UK seaside holiday. Explore The Land's End Peninsula (The Penwith Peninsula).

St. Ives

A classic Cornwall seaside holiday destination. Plenty of stunning local beaches and attractions, shops and restaurants make St Ives a very popular place to visit. As you'd expect, it gets crowded.

Perranporth, Cornwall

We're recommending the stretch of coastline from Perranporth up through Newquay to Watergate Beach/Tregurrian Beach. Perran Beach is superb and up there with the biggest and best Atlantic facing beaches in South West England.

Constantine Bay, Cornwall

The Cornwall coastline from Constantine Bay Beach running north and then east through Mother Ivey's Bay and Harlyn Bay Beach to Rock Beach and Dunes is simply magnificent for seaside holidays.

River Camel and Estuary

The Camel Estuary is lined with superb beaches. From Harbour Cove and Hawker's Cove Beach to Rock Beach and Dunes, Daymer Bay to Hayle Bay (Polzeath and New Polzeath Beach), it's another classic Cornwall seaside holiday destination. As is the case with St Ives, Padstow heaves with people in the high summer months.

Bude, Cornwall

Top left Cornwall not far from the Devon border. Big Atlantic facing beaches and serious coastal walking. Crackington Haven is cool.

Whitsand Bay

This is one of our favourite coastal destinations in South West England. A massive beach lined bay in East Cornwall. It's an absolute delight. There's plenty to do and see in this local area.

Mevagissey

Gorgeous coastal village close to many top Cornwall attractions. Visit The Lost Gardens of Heligan and The Eden Project. Take a trip to the delightful Charlestown Harbour, too.

Coverack

Down on The Lizard Peninsula. Explore the Helford River and Estuary and Lizard Point, Kynance Cove and Poldhu Cove areas.

Marazion, Cornwall

Here, we're recommending the South Cornwall coastline from around Porthleven to Mousehole Harbour. St Michael's Mount is essential UK visiting.
