Bays in Cornwall
Cornwall's famous for its beaches and coastline. This natural beauty extends to its bays, too. St Ives Bay markets itself as one of the most beautiful bays in the world. We think Whitesand Bay is exceptional. Browse our 'Top 10 Recommended Bays in Cornwall' list for further ideas. See also our 'Top 10' beaches, seaside holidays, towns and villages lists for coastal inspiration.

St Ives Bay

Marketed as 'one of the world's most beautiful bays'. We first saw it from Godrevy Point to the north of the bay and it's a cracker. Walk it, horse ride it, surf its waters. Visit St. Ives.

Mounts Bay, Cornwall

Dominated by St Michael's Mount, a massive sweep of sand and coastline covering a chunk of south Cornwall. Very famous and must be experienced. St Ives Bay, and St. Ives, are to the north. Whitesand Bay is to the west.

Booby's Bay

North of Newquay and west of Padstow. We'd recommend viewing the bay from Trevose Head before popping around to Mother Ivey's Bay. Just south of Booby's Bay is the glorious Constantine Bay Beach.

Newquay Bay, Cornwall

Newquay has a reputation as a party town but it's also stunningly beautiful. View Newquay Bay from its delightful harbour.

Mother Ivey's Bay

Perfectly formed bay and beach close to the Camel Estuary and Padstow. Walk the South West Coast Path here.

Bude Bay, Cornwall

Massive bay in north Cornwall with long stretches of beach and high cliffs. The Atlantic Ocean has battered the coastline here to form a memorable landscape. To the north is Devon and the glorious beaches of the North Devon AONB.

Whitsand Bay

We think this is the most dramatic bays in Cornwall. First, it's huge. Second, it's awesome. Perhaps best viewed from the Rame Head end near Cawsand.

Looe Bay

Take a weekend break or holiday in Looe and explore its bay. The beach is seriously popular and the views justify that.

Perran or Ligger Bay

We've researched Cornwall for years now and this is one of those places we'd return to time and again. Mighty coastline. To the north, along the South West Coast Path, visit Holywell Beach and Dunes.
