Beautiful fishing village
Beautiful fishing village surrounded by some of the most dramatic coastal walks in the county. Tintagel to the south, high cliffs to the north.

Located on the north coast of Cornwall, the village itself is set back from two harbour walls dating originally from the sixteenth century. The setting is stunning, a natural inlet protected from the Atlantic by bulging cliffs.

Tintagel Castle and South West Coast Path
Tintagel Castle is a reasonable walk to the south (about 5miles/8km). The coastline to the north is more rugged and includes Rusey Cliff and High Cliff (Boscastle/Crackington Haven). It's an impressive and hard walk to Crackington Haven. Walking north or south of Boscastle, you're on the South West Coast Path.

Look out for Boscastle Visitor Centre and The Museum of Witchcraft, said to contain 'the world's largest collection of witchcraft related artefacts and regalia'.

If you're into walking and fresh air, remember that Bodmin Moor is only seven miles to the east as the crow flies. We recommend the circular walk that takes in Rough Tor (Bodmin) and Showery Tor, parking at the end of Roughtor Rd via Camelford.
